About Me

Hi! I’m Laura Jayne. I’m a data ethicist working in the digital advertising industry. I have 13 years of experience working in media agencies, supporting a wide range of clients across the public and private sector. For 10 years I’ve specialised in social advertising as a planner, buyer and strategist, before moving into an operational leadership role in 2021. I currently work for Omnicom Media UK as the Head of Biddable Operations for MG OMD.

Academic Interests

In 2020, I pursued a Master’s in philosophy, culminating in a dissertation investigating the moral permissibility of AI in digital advertising. My academic interests include epistemic injustice, feminist epistemology, the philosophy and politics of resistance, and hype studies.
